DON'T LOOK AT THIS IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH! I know it's a late warning, but it's the best I could do.
This is a fertilized egg with a tiny chicken embryo inside. It's called 'wang ji dan' and It's been dropped in boiling, salted water to cook it.
This is an old traditional dish is some parts of China (not all) and some believe that if you eat lots of these as a child, you'll be stronger and healthier as an adult.
Personally I think even LOOKING at them is enough to make you feel sick. :/ Don't worry I only took a photo of it, I didn't eat it.
