Thousands of people lived in the Bridge River Valley during the early 1900s. They took advantage of some of Canada’s richest gold deposits at the Bralorne and Pioneer mines. Today, fewer than 60 people live in the town year-round. Many grew up here and don’t want to leave their homes.
