Notebook riting about my travels to capture forgotten places and question the surrounding circumstances, reasons and repercussions. Through my stories I hope to provide a voice for the people I have documented and to expose the situations in which they find them

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

EAST GABGACHHI, BANGLADESH - August 2011. Shazeda Khatun (18) studying the Koran in her home in East Gabgacchi. She has been living on this char for 6 months after her family was forced to migrate when their home was eroded. The char island is extremely low lying and is susceptible to flooding during the monsoon season.
