For those of you that don't know me so well... I was born Welly n.z. I then spent the next 21 yrs of my life moving from house to house in various parts of n.z.
I think because of this 'quasi' nomadic lifestyle growing up, i have a love to keep moving and a passion for the ever-changing.
I've been adventuring the world for 3 years now. I started in Oz on a trip that lasted 6 months. Since then i've done a 4 month trip through South East Asia, stopping in East Timor for 2 months to do some volunteer work.
East Timor was by far the best travel experience so far. I made a dvd on nutrition for the waiting patients of a medical clinic there. The work was challenging and fulfilling. The people of East Timor are incredibly welcoming and loving people.
After Asia I ventured to Europe where i've been working on yachts to fund my travels throughout other European destinations.
Soon, i am to leave on my last trip and eventually back to N.Z. to be a grown-up for awhile, at least.
The trip we have planned will be documented in this journal. Costa Rica is going to be devoted to diving and surfing for 3 weeks. Peru will be more the 'on the beaten' tracks trail, as i'm keen to see all that it is famous for. Fiji is purely a chance to unwind before n.z.
So that's me in a nutshell or any other shell that's small but encompasses more than the eye can see.
