SO
Rainy.Cold.Frozen.Drowsy.Day.
We tried to find the art gallery and couldn't and we were wet and cold so we decided to give up, get some "Big Baby Pizza" and head home.
On the way back, Lindsay and I stopped in the Mac store.
a) because mine has been freezing (go figure) and
b) because Lindsay tried to charge hers for the first time a few weeks back the other day and found out it doesn't charge.
So we get there:
Guy: Hey, can I get your name?
Mary: Mary Case. C-A-S-E.
Guy: Last name?
Mary: Case.
Guy: What's your first name?
Mary: Mary.
Guy: You said it like your first name was Marycase.
Mary: It's not. So my iPod freezes if I push menu to go back an--
Guy(hand out): GIVE ME THE iPOD!
Mary(handing iPod): ok...
Guy: Did you update it?
Mary: Yes.
Guy: Are you sure.
Mary: Yes.
Guy: So wait what's wrong with it?
Mary: If I am listening to it for awhile and I push menu to go back to a previous scree--
Guy(to Lindsay): Is it REALLY that cold out? You're like SHIVERING.
Lindsay: Yes.
Guy(to me): WOW! Your scrolling pad sucks. Anyway, they'll probably just give you a new one. Leave it here a few days and we'll call you, sign this, free of charge (blah blah)
They plugged Lindsay's in and it magically worked. So they told us to leave and come back.
We did.
And they said it's fine and it was charged but as soon as I pushed play the battery power dropped to half and it had been fully charged. They kept hers too.
I feel naked without my Pod :( Hopefully it's okay.
It's funny because those versions haven't been out for more than a year so they didn't need any sort of documentations of when we bought them to prove we were still under our year warranty which is good because Lindsay didn't bring hers.
