My Scholarship entry - The Coast Track, Sydney's Royal National Park

When I arrive at a location – I pause. I let the environment invite me to listen until I find myself involved.
I have an inner drive to explore the world, live it and share it. That fuels my photography. My father once told me to search for knowledge is the noble pursuit – as an adult I'm beginning to comprehend… knowledge is powerful when shared. I’m uplifted when I’m travelling, contemplating, getting drawn in, exchanging knowledge.
I endeavour to hear and see the sincerity of a moment. I apply my ability in art, engineering and languages; pursuing the link between the complexity and simplicity of our natural world and her people. I want those that view the photograph to be involved; I want to bring the world to the world.
Blessed to call Australia home, I’m a long-time landscape photography enthusiast striving to be a travel photographer.
I would be honoured to be mentored by Jason Edwards. His experience and wisdom will establish me as a photographer for the future. This is a chance to prove my desire to be among those that contribute to the world’s collective knowledge through powerful, beautiful and honest photography.
