Without livestock to round up any longer, Uplands Station's Cattledog, 'Lucy' takes in a sunset.

Buried deep in the ranges that border Uplands Station lies Iron Ore. And while industrialization is not new to the family, the 24/7 drone of the mine in the distance is. Eventually, the entire hill will be turned out and processed for the precious mineral.

Sadly, with more vehicles transporting workers to and from the mine on Uplands Station, there is more native fauna, like this adult Red Kangaroo, killed and left to die at the roadside.
