Trials & Tribulations of Trailer Trash

We found an oasis!

AUSTRALIA | Monday, 13 July 2009 | Views [392] | Comments [2]

NOW at last we are beginning to feel as though we are on holiday!

The first week we spent adjusting to being together in a shoe box......or a fish bowl......depending on your point of view!!  I am willing to admit there have been some tense moments...but today I am beginning to feel a little more relaxed, and so is he! Who knows what tomorrow will bring!!! We may survive this trip together after all!!

We found this amazing oasis yesterday and camped there overnight. It’s called Mataranka and there is a thermal pool surrounded by pandanus and cabbage tree palms.  We swam in the 32 degree water and it was wonderful. We are on the road now heading for Jabiru in the Kakadu National Park.

Great to see your having a good time. Different world up there hey. Im sure you will get use to the shoe box just might hav to put the ear plugs in occasionally. You have a long way to go yet so get use to it.. All is well here. Dad and Mum fine. Watch the crocs up there. Dont dangle your feet in the water or anything else for that matter. TAKE CARE XOXO
