'Contact'. Chapter 3. I move on. The road keeps doing zig zag. After passing 2 or 3 small villages hidden either by clouds or mountains, I stop. I take some time to study the inhabitants. This is no longer Machu Picchu and they're not that used to interact with strangers. This man turns back the exact moment I press the shutter - while his dog, well, was at the toilette.

Chapter 2.
An intense thunderstorm woke me up in the middle of the night. But I was supposed to leave by night, and I left. You cannot wake up at 9 if you want to see the sunrise at Machu Picchu.
It seemed as if the rain were improvising a symphony. Every drop of water did different sounds while reaching the leaves of any kind of tropical plants. After walking through the gloomy jungle I arrived to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

'Dog Day Afternoon'
Chapter 4.
I walked up one of Cusco's most sloped streets to see the city from a high spot. Wait, not that high. I deliberately crouched to reach the eye level of this pintoresque dog, as if I were just another pooch, his pal, standing right there at the heart of the Imperial City of the Incas.
