My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Sami herders work and live very closely to their Reindeer, which has made the Reindeer very friendly, unafraid, and inquisitive of humans unlike farmed deer in other parts of the world. The Sami herders keep warm by making a fire in their wooden huts with the Reindeer roaming around outside. The Sami hut has a sloping roof to let the snow slowly slide off the sides, with a small hole in the top for the smoke to escape.
