My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm a girl from Australia with a thirst for exploring, adventure and new experiences. I take my camera, pen and paper with me everywhere and find pleasure in capturing and sharing the many facets of our beautiful world. I grew up in a house where there were piles and piles of national geographic magazines and since leaving home travel has been a huge part of my life.

I have a passion for sharing mine and others experiences through both words and images. My love of geography has lead me to a career in urban planning but what I would really love to do is be a storyteller and photography is one of the best ways. With more practice and mentoring from one the best and most admired in the field, I believe that if given the opportunity this could be the start of an amazing journey. I'm too excited just thinking about it.

I tried to go to Greenland when I was in Copenhagen last year but on my shoestring budget I just couldn't get there. Thanks for the opportunity to apply and if I am the lucky one, know I will give it 200%. I'll stay awake for the whole 10 days if I have too!
