I'm leaving for Guatemala in 48 hours! Right now I'm just trying to fit all of my stuff in one backpack and one carry on. So far, so good. I've spent the last several days saying goodbye to friends and family and now off on an adventure.
For those of you who don't know, I'll be moving to Xela, Guatemala, to attend a Spanish school called Celas Maya. My "official" goal while I'm down there will be to improve my Spanish to a fluent level. However, traveling around Guatemala and other parts of Central America is quite the bonus!
I'm planning on updating this journal as much as possible with stories of my travels and lots of pictures. So stay tuned! Love and peace to everyone in the States!
