Hi, my name is Lindsey Garside, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Melbourne. I would love the opportunity to learn and develop my photography skills with Jason Edwards and his team. I think the Amazon would be an amazing experience and a really great challenge! I’m outgoing, friendly, hard working and willing to learn. I’m a qualified dental nurse and assistant manager at the clinic, where I have worked for the past 8 years. I have also completed my diploma in management. I have had the opportunity to explore the Victorian high country and Tasmania by 4wd with a good old swag. My passion for photography started when I was young as I was always borrowing my mum’s camera, a Canon 350d. I bought my first digital SLR camera about two years ago and I have been enjoying learning to use it ever since! I have recently joined a camera club and have done a couple of portrait workshops which have been a great experience. My other hobbies growing up have been horse riding, netball, swimming and skiing. My current goals are to travel, further my experience in photography and hopefully work in the industry one day.
