    Ah, the first steps of a 12-day backpacking trip...Learning how to pack. What the hell have I gotten myself into? I don't pack lightly. I pack EVERYTHING. Let me get this right...

    12 days.

    1 Winter.

    1 Backpack.

    1 Foreign Country.

    1 Foreign Language.

    Multiple Cities.

    Multiple Adventures.

    Yup. That sums it up. I'm pretty sure that packing the smallest bag of my human existence on earth is going to take me just short of one week from today, which is my departure from the U.S.A.

    Lesson 1 from Peru: Simplify. There is no such thing as over simplifying.

    hahaha....one roll of TP for 12 days and where is the duct tape? No fanny pack?

    Phew and I thought you would overpack by bringing deodorant and a toothbrush.

    I have no idea how you will pack 12 days of stuff into a bag smaller than the purse you carry to make a 5 minute trip to the store. Good luck!
