Today, I got about as close to Table Rock as I think I'm going to get all the way down here. I hadn't spent any time actually on the Swan River until this morning, when I did something I haven't done since I was probably 15...I went knee-boarding. Yes, that is a correct statement. Seb has a friend with a boat...no wakeboards, no skimboards, no tubes, just some old-school water skis and a kneeboard. It was pretty sweet. Seb water-skied for the first time and, of course, got right up after only two tries. My skills were quite rusty, but somehow I managed. All in all it felt like a day out on the lake, which I must say was a very nice, familiar feeling. Although instead of docks, there's just a sandy beach to park the boat. And instead of Plaster's glass house, there's the downtown skyscraper skyline. Good fun.
