daylight savings and a pelican

AUSTRALIA | Monday, 27 October 2008 | Views [462]

Daylight savings time began here in Western Australia (which means, after the US falls back this weekend, I'll then be 15 hours ahead of Missouri), so to celebrate on Sunday afternoon, we took a small drive along the coast to Woodman's Point. Among the many fishermen was this pelican, just quietly chilling and observing. Every once in awhile he got lucky and a generous fisherman threw him a fish, which he caught in his giant mouth, of course.
