Aussies love their meat pies. I, on the other hand, am slowly coming around to them. Essentially, it's meat in a pastry. Sounds good, right? The basic steak pie is growing on me. When it's a steak and cheese pie, it's down right good. And they're not always so simple. For the more adventurous, you can have lamb and curry and egg and veggies. But then I recently went in a pie shop that was offering a camel and emu pie. Seriously? I don't think so.
