OK, OK – The delay of
the update has been long one!
But we are now back on
our travels after living and working in Brisbane for 8 months, Matt
working for Virgin Blue and myself as a Silk Flower delivery girl.
We have made great
friends over our short time living in the city and they will be ones
we will now know for the rest of our lives. Going through one door
does definitely lead to many others.
We are now up the coast
in Cairns, it's a lot warmer than Brisbane especially at the moment
with the weather that was going on there.
Since the weather being
tropical here in Cairns it can go from one extreme to the other,
being lovely and sunny one day then pouring down with rain the next.
We are staying in a
nice little hostel which is quiet too, we got an upgrade when we
arrived because the dorms were fully booked up, which was great news
for us as we now have a twin room for ourselves for the same price.
We have now booked some
tours to go to Cape Tribulation which is around 2 hours North of
Cairns where we will be staying for 2 nights in the oldest rainforest
in the world which will be great fun!
Then when we get back
to Cairns where we will do the Great Barrier Reef, which we are the
most excited about! Keeping fingers crossed for a Sea Turtle!
Our plans from then on
are not to clear, we are working our way down the East Coast until we
get to Melbourne (thousands of miles away) but for now time will only
tell :)
