language of choice, french, because we already had the basics. first we tried online lessons, but lost interest pretty quickly, then when we were road tripping to the lake district with tim he got us on to recordings by michel thomas, number one language teacher in the world. the lessons are really good so we are sticking with it. the hard part is making the effort to listen to them. its not really the first thing you think of when bored but its on going. fingers crossed.
several months later and I can say that we are 100% no closer to speaking french as what we were at the beginning of the trip but points for trying (kind of)
