    During a Napali coast tour, rainbows seemed to fall out of the sky, and this one landed on one of the many secluded beaches that are scattered across the coastline. Dolphins played in the wake of our small boat as we sailed. by: lauragw Views[351] The clouds parted for only a moment at a point along the journey between Hanalei and Princeville. Kauai is famous for its short bursts of rain, keeping it one of the greenest and most lush places on earth. I watched this scene evolve for quite some time, I couldn't look away. by: lauragw Views[352] Kauai is home to some of the most jaw-dropping volcanically-created mountains in the world. The rolling curves and steep hills stop only metres before the ocean. by: lauragw Views[317] In downtown Hanalei, some of the greatest small-surf beaches in the world can be found. Young kids and adults alike can be seen being taught be local Hawaiians to ride the gently waves. An eager student left these shoes behind. by: lauragw Views[329] The Aloha Shirt, also known as the Hawaiian Shirt, is a style of collared shirt originating in the Hawaiian Islands.
