Sunday morning we were allowed to sleep in. I didn’t get up until around 11, and I only got up due to a wake up call (prior to this i hadn’t even realised that i had a phone in my room.)
We spent most of the day hanging around the pool in the hotel, playing a highly modified version of water polo, at which I was awesome, unlike real water polo. A lot of people in the course started their tanning routine today aswell... I stayed in the shade absolutely covered in sunscreen... and I still managed to get a little bit burnt, apparently my skin tone and the sun don’t mix well anywhere in the world.
A quick side note, the tiropites here only have fetta in them and nothing else, they’re pretty god-damn tasty, especially when you can get them warm from the bakery 2 minutes down the road from your hotel.
We went to a different restaurant tonight and shared many, many mezedes. The Tzatziki was pretty good, but not as good as mum’s or Yiayia’s. What was delicious though were the octopus meat balls.
