A great part of adventure is taking risks. And tubing with family who try and make you constantly wipe out, is definitely a risk worth taking.

In Muskoka, Ontario, you'll face your dragons, or just see the most breath-taking wildlife. It's my home for new adventures. Every year I go back, and it's the same. Every year I go back, and I create a beginning of bravery. Turtles are easily my favourite animals, maybe because I am a little envious of them, with their laid-back lives. I feel like I live in a sea of changing currents, going with the flow, yet always struggling to reach the surface.

A place of solitude. A place where you can sit and have the water rush past you while you contemplate life - until you realize the water is carrying a million baby leaches that are now covered all over you. In the end, all you're contemplating is why you ever thought it would be a good idea. In the most unlikely places, at the most unlikely times, you'll find that adventure beckons you.
