One of the highlights of every summer is the Fred Eaglesmith charity picnic at the Catfish Creek/ Springwater Conservation area just outside of Aylmer, Ontario. Not only are the music and the camping fantastic, this event is held in one of my favorite conservation areas. This year my brother and I went for a walk and happened upon one of the most amazing finds of fungi I've ever seen!!
These conservation areas are some of my favorite destinations. I am always inspired by the dedication of the people who take care of and endlessly educate people about why these areas are significant. We are all stewards of this planet, and it is so heartening to see people who are conscious of it!
