I spend a week documenting the lives of these kushti wrestlers in Mumbai in 2011. I went back last year for another week to work again on the story.
The men live their lives according to ancient old rules and diets. The conditions they live in are very simple.
The light conditions were quite though as light came only in via two small windows. All images though were made hand held and without the use of flash!
Some “fighting” to bring the learned tricks and techniques into practice.
