Lots to tell.....
Chris and I have found a place to live. On Edgeware Rd, which is very close to Oxford Street and Regents Park (I think...) we move in on Sunday. It is in a building right across the road from a tube station. We are really happy. its a bit of a random set up but I am really excited about it. Basically its a studio but it shares a kitchen with other studios. The bathroom is HUGE. And the room itself is about the sixe of half our Hataitai flat. It also has good security as the Turkish embassy is in the same building!
I LOVED going to Spain and seeing Viv - it was crazy, but illustrated the ease of travel out of the UK. But not to be outdone was the next weekend which saw us go to GREAT SNORING. I kid you not, this is its name! And for the first time we really felt like we were in England, story book houses and all! We stayed with Charlotte's Mum and hung out with her most lovely friends. A highlight was definately playing a game of rounders on the beach and catching Chris out!!!!! I repeat catching Chris out! Yuss! Also quite good as up until that point I had been a bit useless on general catching and throwing... We had a most english Sunday, playing lawn tennis, croquet and drinking Pimms. We have most definately arrived now.
I have a few more days of work and some interviews lined up, but nothing sorted as yet - wish me luck!!! |
