"My Place, My People"

"I'm a budding photographer who would love the opportunity to photograph the worlds people & their places 'sometime' in this lifetime. I've always wanted to show truth & beauty in my images because I am inspired by others that do so".

In 2007, I took a month of mornings off my job as a cafe waitress & cook to photograph my 'place'. I took 183 photos depicting my town & the people in them - shires were being amalgamated, towns being swallowed up & I realized there was no set record of those that make our town as diverse & unique as anywhere else in the world! I've donated a framed copy of each of the collection to the town for future generations to see.
These photographs may not be 'landscapes' as we know them, however they are 'people scapes' & just as much a part of their own place as an eagle or a temple.
So here they are :These are my people & therefore MY PLACE. I hope you enjoy...
Now that I've gone & done this, I really hope I haven't stuffed up the opportunity by not submitting LANDSCAPES!!!
