Travelling Soul

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hearing my soul...listening to silence in Lewis Pass.

Sleeping in is a well enjoyed pastime yet 5:30am in the morning found this delight. Resting is important...but an advantage can always be found in being willing to do what most will not. The lesson for me here is to go the extra step, for just beyond where the masses stop is endless miles of untold magnificence. The silence was absolute, the stillness was tangible and it is here that in the absence of rush and turmoil, I begin to feel fulfilled.
