Today is our cooking class day!
We had the morning off to do whatever and then at midday we all headed back up to the ristorante we dined at the evening before. After lunch we were introduced to Salvatore the Head Chef and with the help of Dawn our translator (Scottish lady who now resides in the area) we were instructed on what we would be cooking and preparing for dinner that evening. I ended up being the pasta turner i.e. Darren fed the pasta through 3 times while I rotated the pasta machine at consistent speed. Michelle then received the pasta and we adjusted the level each time to end up with very long, fine length of pasta. Everyone was given different meals to prepare for our dinner that night. It was a lot of fun and we had great time eating our cooking that evening though don't think the ristorante will be offering us jobs any time in the future!
