Well I have arrived in Florence and now safely ensconced for the night at the Grand Hotel Villa Medici (http://www.lhw.com/hotel/Grand-Hotel-Villa-Medici-Florence-Italy) before heading up to the hills of Tuscany tomorrow. Unfortunately my luggage decided to stay in Paris enroute to Florence!!!!!! I am hoping it turns up before I check out tomorrow morning. I have consoled myself with pizza (of course) and white wine and am wearing a tshirt courtesy of Air France. All I can say is thank goodness I packed spare pair of knickers in the carry on luggage (too much information I know....).
Looking forward to just plonking down for 10 days in Tuscany and seeing the sights, having good food and wine and attempting to change my lily white legs at least to an off white colour courtesy of a bit of sun tanning...
