Sawatdee Khrap!

so we have a workshop in the morning, then we break for lunch at 12 and dont do anything else until 4pm cause it's too dam hot! loving it though, we can sleep, go swimming, ride our bikes into town for a massage and generally just enjoy life.

the program is a little different to what i was expecting but i'm absolutley loving it and learning a lot of new things, particulary when we are working with thai people in our group and the sharing of our different cultures. and the food.............. aroi ma! [delicous]

we rode our bikes into town last night to check out the local night life. with only a single torch to guide us, we made our way to cafe cafe, a cafe [suprise] owned by a french guy called damian. we enjoyed a few beer chang before we attempted to make our way back home....on bikes.....in dark.....kinda drunk.
i though that i hade made it home ok until i hit the loose stones as i came over the bridge and into our place, i lost control and ended up heading straight for the rice field. funnily enough i didnt fall over - just got bogged in the mud. it was fun trying to get the bike out of the mud in the dark.

i'm needing an afternoon nap pretty bad, but there is a man below our bedroom plowing up the rice field in preparation for us planting rice next week. he must be a bit wealthy as he is using a motorised plow, not a buffalow.
