Adulthood arrives early with young parents and wild dreamers. While waiting out a storm, Sukbat entertains with stories of Mongolia's most accomplished wrestlers and of his personal loss of an eye while protecting his family from local bandits.

Once it is clear evil spirits have not taken a young boy's life, he receives his first hair cut and is quickly taught the ways of man. Boys quickly become skilled riders to assist with herding and to add mischief to their lives.

To be named Arslan, or lion, in Mongolia is the ultimate achievement of manhood. Men from aimags far and near train for such an opportunity to gain this title and be known nation-wide as the champion.
