A late night drive home through the Suburbs. Housing divisions are starting to become the recognisable built fabric.

Visiting these places now I can’t help but reflect on my environmental upbringing with a romanticised cadence. 'James has recently purchased his first property. I met him on his day off; shooting targets in the backyard.'

At the time we were reacting to a place we thought we hated, but upon recent reflections of this place and time I am reminded of that naive excitement we had blurring the lines between self exploration and discovery, experimentation and destruction. 'Smoke dissipates into fluorescent light as a suburban house party slowly comes to an end.'
