Photographed in Kibera, Kenya, this father is part of a series called “Kuangalia.” Translated into english meaning “to look.” This man, although very welcoming
and heartfelt, expressed to me how important it was to act
tough in the streets of Kibera; staring is expressed as a
way of "standing your ground."
