This field mouse wasn't even afraid of us. We were journeying home via the paths around our neighbourhood, and he was quietly staring from a clearing in the grass.

Whilst photographing ducks, swans and other birds at the lakes in my local area, this curious little lizard popped up on a water fountain, demanding his share of the bread we were feeding the birds.

This gorgeous black swan is native to Australia. I sit at the lakes around my community, mesmerized by their grace and beauty, and find that hours have since passed by. It never fails to astound me how flexible and long their necks are.
