My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

The turning point for me&my photography was a year ago; after 6 years in marketing, I wanted to see more of the world. I headed off with my trusty Canon&made my way to Sangkhlaburi,Thailand. The opportunity to work on my photography was huge, all the while immersing myself in a different life. It was here where my Canon&I became inseparable; I knew I wanted to make more of my photography. I became determined to improve&have focused on building my portfolio&travelling (I now live in Bangkok). My photography has become an obsession, seeing things others don’t; constantly itching to make each shot better than the last. I assisted on an assignment recently; shooting Bangkok markets. The buzz I got from how hectic it was, listening to what the editor wanted&ensuring we achieved it was incredible.I am aware of how difficult travel photography is to get into, but I am determined, passionate&ambitious. I hope I am lucky enough to learn from the right people&develop my skills enough to get there. This scholarship would be unbelievable, learning first-hand from Jason; to assist&be mentored in such an interesting country. And I would like to assure Jason I would give the trip my absolute all.
