This is my favourite shot with the focus on the centred gun and the boy slightly out of focus. The light and shadows in this image create a strong picture.

These boys were running wild throughout the souk in the quietness of the early Friday morning on the first day of Eid. Smoking, playing with guns dressed in their favourite t-shirts, they were up to mischeif!

The boys were all smoking, even younger than 10. Even though they were smoking, playing with guns and running wild through the souk, they were also very polite and well behaved. They loved having their photo taken and only wanted to see the image in return. Practising their English learnt from movies, they were excited to be photographed.
