My grandparents got to know each other through a series of letters for a period of a few months. They had only been aquantinces when grandpa got sick and had to leave school. He and grandma wrote letters back and forth for about 6 months. When he was well and came back to school he proposed and they got married. This photo represents the time and letters spend to build their lasting love.
