Well here I am, sweltering in a "bochi" Madrid. This time in a fortnight we'll be on the plane (Intsallah). The girls are away at camp getting ready to outstrip us in the fitness stakes when we hit the kayaks and getting browner and hoarser by the minute. Angus is surviving his last few days at Willoughby being kept entertained by removing staples from the wall and shredding paper for whole mornings at a time and me - well aside from work & book writing issues (currently heading for nadyr level 4) I'm racing around sorting out our Visa limit and organising travel insurance for the impending trip. For a serial list writer, planning the trip to C has been an orgy of fun. I'm about to copy everything I've done already into a new notebook (probably justifying the purchase of a complete new set of stationery to ensure full colour-coding excellence) and am scoring off items on an hourly basis.
Also found the time to start my first ever blog which is slightly worrying. next I'll be asking you all (who?) to become my "Facebook Friends" at which point feel free to have me shot and stuffed - I'm just hanging around trying to convince everyone I'm consciously "post-technology" rather than simply happier with pen, paper and real people to talk to. Ain't nothing virtuous about virtual friendship.
OK. Nuff for now. Don't expect me ever to write as much again. I'm just seeing how this blog mallarky works.
