Greece: traveling amidst economic chaos....

GREECE | Saturday, 28 January 2012 | Views [369]

Athens may be in the midst of an economic crisis, but the people remain the same - so hospitable and kind! And their love for coffee remains undiminished. I've been trying to cultivate my Greek identity by drinking exorbitant amounts of coffee. Which has so far resulted in feeling continuously high. Also not to be the worst person in the world - but everything and its mother is on sale.

Not to miss - the new Acropolis Museum - beautiful. As well as Greek salad, mousakka, bougatsa, spanakopita, tiropita, saganaki, gemista, fakes, melomacarona, frape, baklava, souvlaki....
