Hello,
Wow, what a trip. I went in the north last week to see the villages where the ONG we work for does over there. It was a long and beautiful trip. 18 hours on the bus, 3 hours on a moto, 6 hours on a long canno boat on the Mekong river. It was just amazing. We went up to the laos border and only ONG like our can have access to these villages. I know now that what i<m doing it is very good for the rural development and how much this small amount of money is important for all of them. Im proud and happy to be part of this. We went to see the river daulphins on a beautiful sun set in kratie province . The landscapes were just wow wow wow. The poeple are poor but the have what they need to be happy. I believe that we dont need more then family and friend to be happy. Live was good there. I gave many balloons to kids and I received many smiles. It was magic. We spent the night in a village were we had to dance and drink like the Khmer tradition. I was named the beautiful woman of the village and I danced with the oldest man which is a honor. I saw many things that gave me power and freedom. I eaten my first spiders and it was ok. I was sick for a while but this trip had changed my vision of cambodian and thier culture. I loved it and I wanted more, but it was time for us teacher to start teaching on monday. I have beautiful classrooms but GOD this is hot and I sweet like a maniac all the way. I have to get up at 5 and at 6 30 my first lesson starts. The students are good and I have 3 differents levels. I love it but it is more work that I was expecting. I have a classroom full of man and it is a bit distracting some how. They wont to marry me of course it is part of their cultire and taste for white woman. Im still very happy and Im going to the beach south this weekend with the other teachers. It will be fun ato have a break again. I still go to the pool everyday and I love riding my bike in the trafic. Take care and talk to you all later xxxxxxxxxxxx
