Damn Rebel I've been car-jacked in Barcelona, lost in the Alps and harassed by fake police in Cuba. Yet, I continue to remind myself that adventure was, after all, what I set off in search of.

I am currently based in Spain. Prior to this I lived in the Shetland Islands (Scotland) working as a filmmaker and web designer. In 2010, I left the islands to write and travel; recent trips have included Cuba, Chile, Moldova, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Portugal and Morocco.  I am currently studying for a MLitt in Creative Writing (by distance) at Glasgow University and continue to work in digital media on a freelance basis. Since I left Scotland, I have been car-jacked in Barcelona, lost in the Alps and harassed by fake police in Cuba. Yet, I continue to remind myself that adventure was, after all, what I set off in search of.
