I am a complexly passionate self taught artist & amateur photographer. I love photography for its ability to communicate beyond language, time & space, to observe & preserve, to share what is seen and unseen. I see photography as an art form of unlimited potential and am working hard towards creating a midlife vocation that has power and purpose. For a long time I have wanted to make a difference in this world. My dream with photography is to learn how to capture images that will capture audiences that in turn will influence change in this world towards peace and preservation and away from suffering and devastation. Art and photography are my passions, they let me express and share different aspects of what I see through my personal lens of consciousness amid the chaotic destruction of man upon this planet at this time of human evolution. Photography in particular offers me a pure joy, like an escapism from all of the harsh realities of life, it lets me focus on the beauty of this earth, its inhabitants and on hope. I want to win this scholarship so I can learn how to make a difference in the world entwining my passions for Eden, conservation and the lens.
