    It may be fanciful, but I feel that I have somehow shared in this religious experience - that the act of carefully focusing my lens on the minute details of the sadhu's actions gave me insight that mere observation could not. Views[195] I realise that there is very little distinction between the act of preparation, and the act of prayer, as the sadhu moves seamlessly between the two. Views[215] The sadhu prepares for prayer, with the meticulous application of paint markings, or tilakas.
