If I anyone can say so, I do believe I may have been born to be a travel photographer. I believe that I have a combination of passions and perspectives that make me particularly apt for both the position, and the opportunity to work under the mentorship of Jason in Oman. Since I was 12 I have been a traveler. Most of my journey's have been for pleasure, and the greatest pleasure is always taking photos while I am there, but as a university student I study in Africa and I realized that the role of travel photographer was a hybridization of arts and education. My two greatest passions.
I have always seen myself as an ambassador to the world. Born in America of Bi-racial decent I have always had a shifting interpretation of both home, and self. This has articulated my start sign: Sagittarius the Golden Archer, an independent walker of the earth. But the role of an ambassador can be compared to that of a revolutionary or the most patriotic soldier. I see my ability to walk between worlds, to communicate freely, and see clearly gifts that I am obliged to use as a means to share the world with the world. I hope to build bridges with my photographs. Starting from Brooklyn to Oman.
