Wedding season is an elaborate affair in India. The Sangeet ceremony is a pre-wedding celebration traditionally enjoyed by women only. The ceremony marks the blessing of the young bride, Joginder, by her elders. This is followed by song, dance and general merriment in the streets of Pushkar, India.
