I have been a Police Officer for 21 years and photography has been my creative outlet for the past 10 years. In 2011, I took 6 months leave from work and travelled to Morocco and 11 countries throughout Europe to ‘find my soul’ and to feed my passion for photography. It was the most amazing experience of my life. The people and their stories, the unique cultures, languages, colours, sights, food and everything I encountered touched me in a way that nothing else had. I spent countless hours each day walking the streets photographing everything in my path. To be able to share what I see and experience through my photos is a gift that I am truly grateful for. My dream is to inspire others using my photography.

I love the spontaneity that is synonymous with travel photography. To be able to capture a fleeting moment, which leaves the viewer of the image wanting to know more of the story, is such an amazing feeling and I continually try to achieve that.

When I found out about this competition, I knew this was the opportunity I had been longing for to help me learn the true art of Travel Photography. I strive to become a respected member of the Travel Photographer community.
