The "Eastern & Oriental Express" entered the now non-operational Tanjong Pagar Railway Station for the last time. The heavy rain seemed to convey the reluctance of those who were there to say their goodbyes.

Workers had started the removal of the tracks in Jul 2011. Putting a stop to the co-existence of both the rural and urban features within a city.
