DAY 104. The Aftermath

NEW ZEALAND | Tuesday, 7 February 2017 | Views [293]

We all woke up with numerous cuts and scrapes, deep and shallow, all over our bodies from making it painfully back to the house the night before. The bottoms of our feet were badly cut so it was hard to walk, our hands were sore and scraped up so it wasn't easy to grip or touch anything, and there were cuts on our legs, behind, and arms. Of course with a hangover on top of it all. We were moving quite slow this morning and none of us had motivation to do much. We packed up and the left the Air B&B and went to a park to chill. Cassela and I needed a place to stay for the night so we went and checked into a holiday park. We hung out for a bit and then I left to run a few errands.

I went to a Pak N Save to get a few things as well as a cardboard box so I could ship more of my stuff back to the states. I also went to the mall for a little while and picked us up some food. I got caught in traffic on my way back to the holiday park but picked the girls up and we headed to the airport. We dropped Michealla off, said our goodbyes, and went on back to camp. We talked to our neighbors for a bit, a couple older guys who live in Auckland they told us about their interesting lives. Then off to bed.
