DAY 102. Tauranga Take Four

NEW ZEALAND | Sunday, 5 February 2017 | Views [336]

We left Taupo and headed north to Tauranga. On our way, we stopped at Kerosene Creek, the same warm river I'd been to before. It was fun to hang out in it again. Once we were on the coast, we stopped at the beach in the Mt Maunganui area and hung out in the sun for awhile. Then we went back over to central Tauranga and booked a hostel, the same one I stayed at for five days the time I was in Tauranga on my own. We settled in and tried to stay out of the hot, hot sun in the shade. Our room was on the second floor and had a big rooftop area just off of it. After awhile, I went across the street and ordered a kebab for dinner. I ate in the dining area before going up to our dorm room and hung out for the rest of the night.
