A 30 year old female from India, who quit her banking career of 5 years to explore & live more. Unknowingly, I started photography from 2004 with my Kodak Point & Shoot Camera & then moved to Canon Digi Cam in 2010. When I realized Photography is more than an interest to me, I made a decision to pursue it as a career.
My Passions: Photography, Traveling
As a kid we were taught something as‘Science OR Arts’. For me Photography is both ‘Science AND Arts’. Science, in understanding the technicalities & Arts in composing the shot. If we ignore any one aspect of these two, a shot is incomplete.
Drivers for a better shot: My past mistakes; to get an experience or to live a life of someone else; pursuit for excellence; breaking my comfort zone
What next : Through my photography I would like to showcase the things which we have forgotten or have become insensitive and/or don’t appreciate in our day to day life. I like documenting stories through photography. I have been a self –learner till now and have no formal training. Jason’s expertise and mentoring will really help me reach the next skill level, could help me turn my dream of being a professional photojournalist into a reality.
